Set within a picturesque Berkshire village, this striking period property offered the perfect backdrop for a modern Italian kitchen that balances heritage with contemporary design. The brief was centred around entertaining and culinary performance. A large island wrapped in Stone Italiana Golden Marmorea composite stone anchors the room, with its warm, expressive veining providing both drama and a welcoming warmth. This sculptural centrepiece becomes the stage for everything from weekend cooking to dinner parties.

Siemens appliances were chosen for their seamless integration and everyday precision, pairing beautifully with the sultry, dark handleless cabinetry – a signature of refined Italian minimalism. Antique mirrored glass splashbacks amplify light and add depth, while brass accents, including a patinated Quooker tap and statement lighting, introduce warmth and tactility.

Bespoke upholstered banquette seating completes the space, softening the modern lines and offering comfort without compromising the sleek aesthetic.
