From its inception in 2021 to completion in 2022, this kitchen in Bridgend, South Wales, was envisioned as the dynamic heart of a bold, expressive new-build home, designed by renowned architects Downs & Merrifield. We worked closely with the architectural team from early concept stages to ensure the kitchen was not only integrated seamlessly into the architecture, but elevated to become a focal point of the house.

Crafted from premium Pedini cabinetry, the kitchen features richly textured dark finishes that bring both sophistication and warmth to the space. A dramatic wall of bespoke timber cladding – designed and built exclusively for this project – conceals refrigeration and hides a fully integrated bar behind secret doors, merging craftsmanship with function in an unexpected, playful way.
